And you are having problems keeping track of where things are. Hell, didn't someone say that computers were supposed to make life easier ? So, how come you have to click your mouse 572 times just to locate that certain text-file you are desperately looking for ? And are you sure you didn't accidentally delete it ?

Enter Text Files Depot - popularly known as TFD. It's a cool app that lets you store and organize your text-files in one place. What's more, it has got a text-processor built into it, as well, so you can edit files in depot without changing their creator type attributes.

With TFD, you can :

• Store all your text-files in one place
• Drag & drop text files, aliases or clippings directly to TFD window to be stored
• Launch files with original creator directly within the application
• Create an unlimited number of categories for your text-files
• Store an unlimited number of files in each category
• Create, Edit and Save new Styled text-files
• Trash files directly from within the application
• Drag selected text to the desktop to create clippings
• Convert files from Generic to Styled Text

You copy files to depot by dragging them to app window. They will be stored in selected category (subfolder) in Depot folder, which is in root folder of TFD app. Once files are in Depot folder they will show in files list. It is very simple to use and keep track of all your text files. Definitely fastest way to preview hundreds text files having open just one window.
